Set between sea and countryside and close to both town centre and beach, the course was founded in 1925 as 9 holes and extended to 18 in 1996.
You’ll enjoy a links golf for most of the round, with a touch of “bocage” (hedgerows in English) which reflects the development of the course, and makes the most of the natural contours of the area which abounds with wildlife.
There are well-protected greens and water hazards to keep you on your game. What’s more, the excellent drainage means the course can be played year round.
Coutainville is certainly worth a visit and after playing you will be assured of a warm welcome in the friendly clubhouse.
