Widely recognized as one of the finest links courses in France, Belle Dune is flanked by the towering sand dunes and maritime pine of Fort Mahon Plage, just over an hour south of Calais.
It was designed by the Italian Jean-Manuel Rossi in 1992 and compares favourably with many of the great links layouts in the UK & Ireland – but with its own special attractions.
Combining breath-taking scenery with some wonderfully manicured holes, its fairways are flanked by gorse and marram grass, and like many links, the wind off the sea is often a factor to contend with.
The complex has a range of top facilities – there’s a covered practice range, golf tuition and a fine clubhouse brasserie. And for the non-golfers there are tennis courts and an outdoor pool on site.
