In southern Brittany, not far from the historic walled town of Vannes, Baden is an attractive and generally forgiving golf course.
The first hole takes you down to an inlet of the River Auray, with boats on their moorings behind a green that is typically large and welcoming. There’s gorse and several water hazards, but don’t be deterred because this is an attractive course suitable for high to low handicap players.
Baden is a good looking course, and the subtle changes in elevation keep it interesting. You finish on a par 5 and a birdie chance.
