Ranked among the top courses in France, this is a regular venue on the European Challenge Tour. It’s a little bit links, partly parkland with a hint of heathland … but at a fraction of the price you’d be paying for its equivalent in Scotland or Surrey.
There are some truly memorable holes – particularly from 9 through to 12 including the super-elevated tee with ocean view on 11. The rest of the course is also impressive, with some corking short holes and challenging tee shots.
In close proximity to St Malo, it’s little wonder that Pleneuf is so popular with visiting golfers.
